the Framer's Guide
Framer's Guide - for the Framer

The Framer's Guide application enables loading images from harddisk, loading images from windows clipboard and directly from any scanner or digital camera. Afterwards a passepartout is assigned to the image. Within you can select a passepartout form a list and define the shape and borders. All these passepartouts have individually assigned colors and textures. Then a frame is assigned to the composition. These frames are also individually defined by colors and textures (aluminium, wood, but also with golden borders, a.s.o). Finally the backboard mat and the glass has to be selected. Such compositions can be stored and added to the order magazine. This compositions, added to the order magazine, can be individually booked by using print/fax, email or ftp options (depending on the support of the supplier).

Framer's Guide - the professional assistance for the Framer

The properties of the backboard mats, glasses, passepartouts and frames can be taken for calculations. The definition of passepartouts (costs, colors, textures, ...), backboard mats, glasses and frames is individually solved and can be administrated user friendly. Additional order items (items, which do not directly belong to a composition, like suspensions, decorations, ...) can also be individually administrated and added to any composition. In the process of ordering, these additional items are also worked out. By using the definitions of prizes the fully automated calculation of the Framer's Guide is working. Moreover, when ordering a composition, each seperate part of the composition (passepartout, frame, glass and backboard mat) can additionally be changed. It is possible to order "whole pieces = standard bord 90cm x 120cm" (no predefined shapes, or no "cut to length" frames, ...) or to delete certain parts which not should be ordered.
